Vine Nirvana is a small, multi-faceted, female-owned wine business dedicated to sharing delicious, sustainable wines from Italy and Spain. Built on a passion for discovery and connection, Vine Nirvana brings together wine education, global relationships, and curated experiences that allow people to explore wine in a deeper and more meaningful way.
Through private tastings, wine sourcing, and luxury wine and culture tours, Vine Nirvana creates opportunities for wine lovers to connect with exceptional wines and the stories behind them. Every experience is designed to highlight the people, places, and traditions that make each bottle unique.
The Journey Behind Vine Nirvana
In 2019, while immersed in the WSET Diploma program, founder Gwendolyne Willis began attending international trade shows and building meaningful relationships with wineries across Europe. During this time, she began sourcing wines for an importer supplying the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board (PLCB), a relationship she continues to maintain today.
Gwendolyne’s dedication to wine education and global exploration continues to shape the Vine Nirvana experience. She became a Sommelier through the UNLV Sommelier Academy, achieved WSET Advanced with Merit, earned the Spanish Wine Scholar certification through the Wine Scholar Guild, and is currently pursuing the Italian Wine Scholar certification. Each year, she attends Barcelona Wine Week and travels throughout Europe to connect with the vineyards and winemakers whose wines are featured in Vine Nirvana experiences.
